The Gas Generating Sets assembled at MBH are based on GE Waukesha and Liebherr gas engines.
GE WAUKESHA GAS ENGINES
GE Waukesha Engines are manufactured in the USA. They are hard at work powering the world's energy infrastructure - driving compressors in gas gathering, processing and transmission operations and providing electrical power for oil and gas fields in remote corners of the globe.
GE Waukesha rich-burn engines operate with a wide margin for both knock and misfire, allowing a high tolerance for fuel composition. At lower NOx levels, lean-burn engines operate in an increasingly narrow window, limiting fuel flexibility and making them more sensitive to site conditions.
LIEBHERR GAS ENGINES
The high-performance Liebherr gas Engines are manufactured in Switzerland. They impress wioth their high level of efficiency and reliability.
Optimized for operation with natural gas, biogas and special gases, Liebherr gas Engines are suitable for diverse applications.
Thanks to the high availability of gas Engines, short downtimes and low maintenance as well as operating costs are guaranteed.
Liebherr gas engines are particularly impressive due to their performance, a favorable ratio between electrical and thermal power, and high mechanical efficiency of more than 41%.
